Storage
How to store peptides so they don't lose potency.
Peptide powder (not reconstituted)
- Store it in the fridge, between 2 and 8 °C.
- For long-term storage, the freezer is ideal.
- Always protect it from light and heat.
- As a powder, peptides stay in good condition for many months.
Reconstituted peptide (mixed with water)
- Always store it in the fridge, between 2 and 8 °C.
- Use it within the period stated on its profile (usually about 28 days).
- Do not freeze it once mixed, unless the profile says so.
- Keep it in its vial, protected from light.
Practical tips
- Place the vials in the middle of the fridge, not in the door (the temperature rises there every time it opens).
- If you need to transport them, use an insulated bag with a cold pack.
- Write the date on each vial to track its expiry.
- If the liquid looks cloudy, has particles or has changed color, do not use it.
